Billing & Service Information


Our services are provided on an annual agreement, with payments spread into monthly Direct Debit instalments to keep things straightforward and easy to manage.


Your monthly fee covers the services included within your proposal and, where applicable, any software, platform access and ongoing support from the Hatch team.


We believe in clear, transparent pricing. There will be no hidden fees and no unexpected price increases. If there’s ever anything outside of the agreed scope, we’ll always have a conversation with you first before any additional work is carried out.

  • If I'm switching, who will contact my previous accountant?

    As part of the professional clearance process, we’ll contact your previous accountant once you’ve confirmed you’re happy for us to do so and shared their contact details with us. Before we reach out, we do ask that you let your previous accountant know we’ll be getting in touch and confirm that you’re happy for them to respond to us and share the relevant information we need.

  • Will I be charged for joining partway through the year?

    If you join Hatch partway through your accounting year, we’ll bring your accounts fully up to date before moving forward. This involves a one-off backdated service charge to cover the work required for the period before you joined us, ensuring everything is accurate, compliant and aligned from the outset.


    This catch-up work is only charged in your first year with Hatch. After that, your account will run as normal, with no further backdated charges unless additional retrospective work is specifically requested.


    For example:

    If your year-end is in December and you join Hatch in July, we’ll complete six months of catch-up work. This will be invoiced once your year-end accounts are finalised and before submission.

  • How do I know if Hatch is the right fit for my business?

    We know every business is different, so we take the time to understand how you work, what support you need and where you want your business to go. Our aim is to be proactive, approachable, and genuinely helpful - not just someone you hear from once a year at tax time.
